Traits: They are usually fat, so they use their techniques and have marking on their faces. Members of the clan wear the kanji for "food" on their clothing.
History:



Shichibi blessed a set of humans with the knowledge to use their chakra to expand certain parts of their bodies. This knowledge allowed them to became powerful fighters on the front line becoming powerful foes creating the clan known as the Akimichi. Along with that, they realized they could make calories become chakra



With the disappearance of the Bijuu and Seiju, the Akimichi traveled with others to help build Kirigakure. The became one of the first to settle in the area became one of the strongest clans in Kirigakure.


One hundred more years came to pass and the Five Great Shinobi Villages finally established themselves and the Akimichi did most of the missions for their known strength. With the rise of the new beasts the Akimichi were put to work to get them. As they tried to get the beasts, war started with the other villages. The Akimichi were the front line of defense and offensive were able to kill many of the other ninja. As the beasts were captured. One of the members of Akimichi clan had gotten the beast and became one of the very first Jinchuuriki.



The member that was the Jinchuuriki was forced to fight against the other Jinchuuriki of other villages. The member lost his life when he was ganged a Nara member and a Jinchuuriki. This created a long life hatred for the Nara's, for help killing their brethren. When the beasts attacked the villages. The Akimichi clan believed it was the Nara's fault for the beasts coming out and demanded them to be hunted. The Kirigakure council told them to settle down and forget dispute. The Akimichi once again helped hunt the beasts.




When the next war started. Akimichi specifically targeted Nara's, but were blindsides by there shadow powers. Many Akimichi lost their lives in this time period to the Nara's. For this, that hatred fueled even more.


When the the third war started. The Akimichi once again found themselves on the front lines of the war, and they battled fiercely against the other nations, but that didn't help when they were slaughtered by the release of the beast. Many members died that day and the ones that were left fled to their home, which was the only thing clan building left standing in Kirigakure. Once again, the Akimichi blamed the Nara's for this problem.

This is when the remaining members of the Akimichi clan secretly snuck into Konohagakure and assaulted the Nara's killing half their clan members. When the Nara's began to fight back, the Akimichi ran for it. When the news of their attack spread to their council, they were put under investigation.    

As time went on, the investigation stopped and hatred towards the Nara's had began to fade. The Akimichi then grew in size.



Twenty long years have come to pass peace among the four nations however each being somewhat hostile to the other. But war is soon to break out and the Akimichi are in for an new eyesight.
